This is actually a project that I did for writing class.
The assignment was to talk about why and how we did a piece of work and I thought it would be fun to do it tutorial format.

I use Photoshop cs2 and a Wacom tablet.

Yes, always. I thing it's much much easier. But if you want you can make a duplicate layer before you start working, that way, you don't have to worry about messing your work up.
